2006 Black Tie Dinner & Dance at The Savoy
21/10/2006
On Saturday 21st October 2006, The Savoy Hotel, London hosted the Black-Tie Dinner and Dance in association with the Simone Cowland Trust in aid of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust, Foulis Ward, London.
360 guests were treated to a champagne reception, fine dining and our delectable hostess Martine McCutcheon.
Tenors Incognito brought everyone to their feet with their fantastic operatic ensemble, and a special live performance from Brenda Edwards brought the house down!
All in all it was a truly memorable evening which helped to raise much needed funds and awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and the Simone Cowland Trust. In total, the evening raised in excess of £100,000 for the Trust.
Father of the late Simone Cowland and spokesman for the Trust, John Hawkins commented: “The Committee and I are overwhelmed with the level of support we have received from family, friends and companies for both the Trust and the launch itself. We are absolutely delighted with the amount of money raised, all of which will help provide new facilities for the Foulis Ward.”
